(a) The signs are:
(i) That Saul would meet two men by Rachael's tomb in the territory of Benjamin.
(ii) They would tell him that his father's ass had been found and that his father was worried about him.
(iii) Three men would meet Saul at the oak of Tabor, one of the men carrying three kids.
(iv) With another, three loaves of bread, the third with, a skin of wine.
(v) The men would greet him and offer him two loaves of bread, which Samuel advised him to accept.
(vi) After that, he would move to a place where he would meet a band of prophets, with musical instruments, prophesying.
(vii) The spirit of the Lord would descend upon Saul.
(viii) And he would prophesy with the prophets.
(b) The moral qualities that can be derived from this episode are:
(i) When God is in a programme; signs follow / God guides his people to successful completion of the programmes.
(ii) The word of a true prophet is always fulfilled no matter the odds. God is not an author of confusion. He clarifies issues for the sake of his words.
(iii) God is interested in the leadership of his people / God enthrones. His people and confirms them to his glory.
