What type of bond holds hydrogen fluoride molecules together when forming larger aggregate?
Hydrogen fluoride molecules are held together in larger aggregates by hydrogen bonds. While the individual hydrogen fluoride molecule (HF) is a polar covalent bond, the strong hydrogen bond between the hydrogen of one HF molecule and the highly electronegative fluorine of another HF molecule creates the larger aggregates.
